While time appeared to stand still during the lockdown imposed by the need to curb the global impact of the coronavirus pandemic, 2020 will soon be a thing of the past.

However, 2Futures is all systems go in terms of progress on luxury property developments under construction, with delivery dates drawing ever nearer for new homeowners keen to begin their luxurious island life.

“Building of all our apartments and penthouses is on schedule, although delivery timeframes are estimates as the impact of Covid-19 on our projects is still being assessed,” says senior executive Junaid Salehmohamed.

Construction is complete at Le Domaine de Grand Baie and teams are busy with the finishing touches. This is the first serviced residence for seniors in Mauritius, developed in partnership with Aegide-Domitys and MCB Capital Markets. While delivery is scheduled for the first quarter of 2021, the wellness centre is already prepped to welcome the first guest.

Les Residences de Mont Choisy, a boutique property development that shares a prime location with Le Domaine de Grand Baie in the north of the island, is also scheduled for delivery at that time.

Next up will be Ki Residences in the second quarter of 2021. The walls are already up, and the pool is in! This project in peaceful Pereybere comprises penthouses and apartments with two or three bedrooms.

Meanwhile, the exclusive homes at Ocean Grand Gaube, set on Grand Gaube Beach, are scheduled for delivery a year later.
