Golf course Mauritius

Play golf at the Mont Choisy estate, and you’d learn why many foreigners have picked its home sales listings. Before tee-off, your first stop at the golf links’ clubhouse is impressive enough.

The golf course is semi-private, and its clubhouse is open even to non-golfers. A residence in the estate hence offers country club living without paying a hefty club membership fee.

Though wood and iron golf clubs may be alien to you, there’s so much to enjoy in the estate’s clubhouse. It has a superb restaurant that holds a weekly Grill Party, Chef and Friday Festivals. The clubhouse is likewise available for family gatherings, and it has a board room available for meetings as well.  Aboard golf carts, non-players can also chill out and tour the links along the meandering concrete lanes of the layout.

The no. 1 luxury real estate developer on the island, 2Futures, built these homes under the Integrated Resort Scheme (IRS). These builds form part of Mont Choisy Le Parc, a strong magnet for foreigners to invest in Mauritius.

Focusing a home search around golf courses could yield splendid results.

Neighbourhoods along the fairways

The dwellings in this development overlooking the golf course are the apartments in Banyan Grove and the residences in Villas du Golf.  The latter notably features the iconic villa designs of Stefan Antoni, a noted South African architect. Two other nodes—Villas du Parc and La Peninsule—account for the 2Futures’ IRS development adjacent to the golf course.

A short distance east of the golf links, 2Futures offers more residential choices in a pair of developments. These are Les Residences de Mont Choisy and Le Domaine de Grand Baie.

Les Residences de Mont Choisy is comprised of 20 boutique apartments nestled amidst lush greeneries. It is a development under the Real Estate Scheme, also a programme like the IRS designed to attract foreigners.

A community for senior living

The Le Domaine de Grand Baie, on the other hand, is a project designed for seniors and retirees—either Mauritians or foreigners. This development caters to residents age 50 years and over. DOMITYS, a leader in France for seniors services, manages this property.

Le Domaine de Grand Baie provides plenty of amenities to its residents. It boasts of a 1,800-square-metre Espace Club offering interior and exterior swimming pools, spa, fitness centre, beauty salon, bar, lounge, and restaurant. Concierge and nursing services are available as well.

Keep yourself posted on more opportunities to invest. Contact a 2Futures consultant, the island’s real estate market offers a lot more besides communities off golf links.
